Phone call

You probably wont be reading this

So I am going to write the truth

I did enjoy the conversation tonight

I do giggle and I do laugh

I did that even more

On the phone with you

You may actually read this

So I am going to say the truth

I am giggly after talking to you

And I am not 18

Or even 28

O well, it was just a phone call

I calm now

Its back to work, my glasses and ‘normalcy’

If anything else

The little girl within is excited

She didnt think she would enjoy the call

As much as she did

If you are reading this

Already looking forward to rekindling an old flame

You will know the old flame is ……

p.s your guess is as good as mine.

Lagos Ibadan 'Danger' Road

I promised mum
I would do my best
To keep this road
In public sight

For those lost to this road
For
Those maimed
For
Those broken
Many in tears
To the voiceless travellers

And many more
A huge cry to BiCourtney
Do more!
You have blood on your hands

P.s; I understand work has commenced again on the Ogere stretch, but the pace is too slow.
